From Pompeii review
It has been some time since
I've watched Pink Floyd's video Live at Pompeii, though I did
see it twice. The setting has the band in an empty natural amphitheater.
There are no fans in attendance, just the band. They set up their
instruments in this vast empty theater and wail on their instruments
delivering superb and intense versions of their early songs. There
are also numerous priceless scenes in the studio with the band
during the recording of the Dark
Side of the Moon album, including interviews.
Live From Pompeii is
supposed to be reissued in DVD format during the summer of 2003. Barry Small ©
