Slowhand
Eric Clapton’s Slowhand
album is the fourth and final album that features this
particular back up band. While this CD includes one of his most
famous numbers, "Cocaine," it has much more to offer than
that one good song. This
album includes four classics; "The Core," "Lay Down
Sally," "Wonderful Tonight," and "Cocaine,"
as well as many good ones. One tune that is exceptional that gets
left off the over supply of Eric Clapton’s Greatest Hits releases
is “The Core,” a song that is enhanced with great back-up vocals
and horns. In addition to having hits, the flow of this CD magically
blend rock, blues, and country with some funky rhythmic shuffles
serving up not only one of Eric Clapton’s best solo discs, but one
of rock’s all time classic releases.
